Lenéa's 4th Birthday

Lenéa is officially 4 years old, and is loving every minute of it. Several weeks ago she watched the movie 101 Dalmatians (the one with Glen Close) for the first time. Since that time, she had been talking nonstop about having a "Domination Party"— so we included a few doggy elements to her party.

Her birthday is February 12, and her party wasn't until the following Saturday. Paul went out of town the day after Lenéa's birthday, so we thought it'd be better/easier to wait to throw a party for her. We had her party early in the day (10 am) and served breakfast, which consisted of pancakes, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and—lest we forget—chocolate milk! I normally go all out by making a birthday cake but I decided to just make cupcakes this time around. She loved the idea of eating several cupcakes! Perhaps it was because it was easier to sneak into seconds and thirds?

Here are some random pictures of her birthday and the birthday party.

Today was not his day... and he knew it.

But chocolate makes all things better.

...SO much better. :)
